Supporting charities & communities

At Celtic Renewables, we take pride in actively supporting our community and charitable causes. Recently, our team has been hard at work raising funds and awareness for both charities and community initiatives.

Whisky Trail Challenge

Several of our colleagues recently took part in the Whisky Trail Challenge, which aligns with our use of liquid residues from whisky in our processes. Beginning in April, the team embarked on a virtual journey along the Whisky Trails of Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. Together, they swam, walked, ran, jogged, hiked, and cycled an amazing 5,250 miles—the distance between whisky distilleries across the UK!

This challenge was part of our mental health and well-being program, and we’re especially proud to have raised funds and awareness for Falkirk’s Mental Health Association (FDAMH).

Some snapshots of our team out & about getting their steps in to reach our total of 5,250 miles:

MacMillan Coffee Morning

We recently ran a MacMillan coffee morning to raise money in support of those suffering from cancer. It was a great chance to bring the team together, have some sweet treats and raise money for a great cause.
