Celtic Renewables featured on Prince Charles’ RE:TV
  • March 9, 2022

The innovation underpinning Celtic Renewables is featured on the first programme of a new season of the sustainability film series RE:TV which is shown online and broadcast on Amazon Prime.  RE:TV was launched in 2020 by HRH The Prince of Wales, as part of the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI) and it is funded by Bank of America.

With the Prince taking an active role as editor-in-chief, RE:TV provides a showcase for inspiring innovations and ideas that point the way towards a sustainable future.

“I’ve spent a lot my lifetime trying to engage people and businesses with the issues and solutions of the climate crisis. RE:TV was therefore set up with the aim of capturing the will and imagination of humanity and champion the most inspiring solutions for sustainability from around the world.”

Prince Charles

The purpose of the channel is to inspire business leaders to embed sustainable practices within their own organisations, understand the importance of nature to the global economy, and raise awareness among a wider audience of the role market forces have in driving sustainable innovation.

The series has covered projects from around the world tackling climate change and the new season features the story of Celtic Renewables.

“It has been a pleasure working with the production team at RE:TV who are so dedicated to sustainability and having the support of Prince Charles. We are thrilled to have been chosen as a feature for this series, which highlights the global importance of what we are trying to achieve at Celtic Renewables”

Prof Martin Tangney OBE, Founder of Celtic Renewables

The episode is currently being shown on RE:TV and coming soon to Amazon Prime.
